The Nest

Well, the weather is supposed to be getting bad, so we played outside all day today!
The girls made a nest out of the baby pool and a million blankets and pillows.

They had a ball.


We even decided to eat in the nest!!

There's No Place Like Home

Finally, Halloween... we've never been this in to Halloween.  I guess the girls are just at good ages and involved in fun things that had Halloween fun.  Anywho the real deal... Halloween Night... trick or treating

AND the VERY BEST part of the night was giving out candy from Home... I guess there really is, "No place like Home!"

This little guy made her VERY nervous.  He was just way too close to the basket!! 

Claire was slow to warm up, BUT when she did...

She was REALLY into it!!

Preschool Party

Livie's preschool had a party and Claire got to go too!!  She loved bobbing for ducks!  Notice how patiently the little boy is waiting.

Miss Kristen drew the kids in their costumes.  Livie was very intrigued!

Candy Craze

So, we're all hanging out in the basement night before Halloween... Keep in mind we've already trick or treated Jed's grandparents, and came home with more candy than all other trick or treating combined!
Jed and I go upstairs to look for something and come back to this.... YIKES

Halloween Ready??

Well, here's the deal... I really wanted to get this on video; therefore, I have NO pictures!  It seems like I'm able to get one or the other, but not both.  I actually took pictures, and then realized, a little late, that my card was NOT in my camera. Ridiculous--
But this is what I have....

This is Claire's pumpkin.  Notice the scribbles.  She did a great job drawing eyes, a nose, and a mouth.  I don't know why Jed didn't follow the lines??!!

Funny thing about our neighborhood and Halloween... it's crazy!!  We're talking 400 trick or treaters crazy!  The cars in and out and lined up look like you're going to a college football game!  Seriously.  Everyone had to rope off their newly seeded yards.  We did not.  You'll notice our DEAD yard in other pictures.

 Crazy Huh... but completely understandable if you come to our neighborhood Halloween Night!
