Deer Hunting Family Style

The girls were pretty excited about going to Section 1 to deer hunt.

They were very excited to see deer.

And they had all the right equipment...

They weren't that quiet!!??
Needless to say we didn't see any deer.... well except for on the ride home.
Does that surprise you? :)

Time to Party

We're getting ready for a big party...
Claire is turning 2
We took pictures for her invitations.

She's VERY into her birthday.
She's picked out monkey plates... a polka dot table cloth, and put her new birthday outfit on
the second we got home.
Hence the taking invitation pictures... :)

Happy New Year

Jed and I actually had a date...

Well, all of his brothers were there too.
and their significant others :)

We took a limo to Wichita and ate Chester's.

I had never ridden in a limo... super fun!
As you can see, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the limo as well.

Bring on 2012!

Christmas Lights

That night, we went out to eat and to look at Christmas lights.
There is a drive / walk through park in a neighboring town that we have been going to for years...
and some things never change... the caterpillar bridge for example...
The girls wanted to run through it!
So we got eaten by the caterpillar!

My sister and the girls... too cute!

Until next year Christmas....

Christmas Chaos!!

We have many Christmases to go to and a short time to get there...
Rather than show 13 million pictures, I did a collage for each Christmas gathering.

Christmas Eve Morning
Goering Christmas
Highlights...
We received zoo passes from Grandma and Grandpa Goering... so fun!

Christmas Eve Night
Big Claassen Christmas
Highlights...
I made all the cousins on both sides capes. Molly is modeling Finn's, and Ava is wearing hers.
Claire got a baby and was super excited! It saved the night for us.
We attended the Christmas Eve program at Henry & Ava's church and watched an adorable portrayal of Christ's Birth... (snapshots of Jesus birth)

Christmas morning we had our own with just the four of us, and I have terrible pictures. I was running the video camera, and it seems every time I do that I miss out on Real Pictures.

Then on to Grandpa Dwight and Grandma Connie's... for breakfast and Christmas there.
Highlights...
Matt is home from Switzerland.  The four boys exchanged gifts and were very excited about it.
Dwight made a candle for Connie and they both cried... a lot. It was very sweet.
Dwight got the go cart that his dad got him fixed up and running for Henry.

Next, Oklahoma for my family's Christmas
First the Holder Christmas... yes this is still Christmas day.
Highlights...
The boys worked out the problems of the world.
The girls got adorable tutus among many other things. Claire put hers on and wore it immediately!

Eggleston Christmas with my parents and sister
the Day after Christmas
Highlights...
Santa came to my parents house and brought PINK JOHN DEERE BICYCLES!!
Jed was surprised with an air compressor.  Claire got a baby that eats.  Both girls received new dress ups... notice all of the hair fixing going on!

Happy Birthday Jesus
Merry Christmas Friends and Family
