Princess Livie is 5

Livie wanted a Princess Party at her house in the basement...
She said no grownups, and everyone had to dress up... Now that I can handle...
It was honestly the most fun laid back birthday party we've had yet.
She invited the Thompsons and even Declan got in on the fun.

This is her new princess dress special for the occasion.

Guests Arrive Dress Ups in hand

We painted wands...

Decorated Crowns...

 Ate ring pops...

And decorated their own cupcakes... ToO FUN

Some people were more interested in eating the cupcakes... :)

Terrific Fun was had by all!!
And since Livie's birthday is so close to Easter, she basically got to celebrate for an entire week!!

Rain Girls

We have had some rainy days, and for that we are thankful.  It's good for the crops and good for our new grass too!!  The girls have had a ball playing in the puddles.

They were pretty wet and ready to be snuggled.

including our oldest, Maddi dog

Fishing

The same weekend we were able to go fishing and have a weenie roast at the pond... one of my favorite things to do.  I was so happy it was nice.

We had hot dogs and made yummy smores.

Jed taught us how to pick "good boats..."  sticks that float well and fast.

The girls were very into it!!

And then there were races....

I have NO idea why Claire has a sucker, but she was very willing and eager to share.

The girls also had their own special time in the wheat field...

Then we caught a fish... Yes 1 fish, the only one of the night.

BUT it was still VERY exciting!!!

March 24, Outdoor Weekend

We DEFINITELY had some work to do on our yard a couple of weekends ago.
Luckily, it was gorgeous!  (We still have a lot of work...)

Claire LOVES to help daddy mow.

Livie loves swinging in the hammock.

Who's there?

Peek - a - Boo

We found LOTS of worms.  Yea W day is just around the corner. :)

We went with daddy to burn a pile.

The downfall of the day was when Claire's finger got shut in our glass door.  It would not stop bleeding.  We're pretty sure she is going to lose her nail.  She was sad for a long time and that is NOT like Claire.

Poor cute, snuggly Claire

After the drama we let the chicks out for some fresh air.  They followed Livie.  She's their mother hen.  It was hilarious.
