It's Sunday...

The day of worship and rest... and for us the one day to pack a months worth of family time in!  We hit

and saw Buffalo

and 1 elk!

Then on to the Pumpkin Patch...
Wake up Girls Lots to do Today...

Since many of the pumpkins still look very green, Claire got VERY excited when she saw an orange one.
She screamed Orange One... Orange One.. and this is what she saw...

Thankfully reinforcements stepped in

She was VERY PROUD!

And look who else was at the pumpkin patch today...

The slide was great fun and so was the tank full of corn!

I love the pumpkin patch... it's one of those things I look forward to every year.  We didn't have any near where I grew up, so this is a new family memory for Jed, the girls, and I.

Drilling Wheat

These days we've been spending quite a lot of time on the tractor.  Since Jed is drilling wheat that is pretty much the only way we are able to see him.

This one rode for a couple of hours on Saturday while the older one was at a movie with Grandma... mommy got a couple of hours to HERSELF!  Yes...

Don't judge me, but I wanted to tan... I know how bad it is, but come on I wanted to lay in an old school tanning bed for like 20 minutes getting warm, "skinnier" and relaxing... I don't get these new get ya tan in 3 minutes... NO I'm here without kids... give me 20 minutes 15 at least.... Well I was thoroughly disappointed as I went to 3 places in town and not a one was open!  So I did this instead...

See my cute toes.... French Tip is always my favorite!!

Big Girl Bed

Well since Claire is now proficiently crawling out of her crib... we have transformed her bed into a toddler bed.  I figure at least she can climb back in now too!

The first night we tried letting the girls sleep together... not a brilliant idea...

Amazingly, Claire did fall asleep, but Livie went to her bed after that.  They definitely enjoyed the company though.

Come Boss

Jed has a "NEW" cake feeder and horn for his pickup.  He's very excited!
We went with him to try it out.
Claire got new boots for the occasion... they are only about 3 sizes too big!

It Works... It's a MIRACLE!!!

The girls took turns honking the horn.

And EVERYBODY yells "Come Boss" to call the cows.

But no one can top Claire's "Come Boss"  I HAVE to get it on video!

At the pond we flooded...

Why are these the only kind of pictures of me?  I've been downloading videos from our camcorder and it's like I don't exist.  I'm always behind the camera.. which sometimes I prefer, but then I look back and it looks like Jed is a single dad!!??

Guess Who can Climb out of her Crib?

Yep, You Guessed it... Claire

Honestly, I'm surprised it took her this long.
She just sticks one leg over, and slowly lowers herself down.  No THUD or anything!!
Luckily, she has not learned how to open doors... YET.

Therefore, this is how we found her... asleep on her floor.  It's actually pretty cute.
Time to make the crib into a toddler bed!
On a side note:
(Livie fell out ONCE! and that was it never did it again...But her nose was pretty skinned up for Christmas pictures.  Claire's an expert... Mission Impossible Type)

Baptism

Baby Finn was baptized this weekend.  The Thompsons were here and got to stay the night.  The girls, of course, had a ball.

The night before ALL the kids got a bath.  5 Kids, 1 Bathtub,
