Easter

He Is Risen!

Side Note:  Do you have the Jesus Storybook Bible?  If not you need to get it!!  I'll let you in on a little secret if you live in NW OK Holder Drug carries them!  If not you can find them in Barnes & Noble, and I'm sure most Christian Bookstores.  It's worth it.  I read out of it on Easter morning to my girls, and the entire family ended up listening.

How was your Easter?  Do you even remember it?  I know I'm behind... tell me something I don't know!!

Livie's school Easter party went well even though we did have to hide the eggs inside because it was misting!  I was given great advice on maybe camouflaging the eggs.  Hey, you try hiding 100 eggs in a tiny classroom!  :)  It was actually adorable.

After school, we loaded up and headed to Oklahoma.  We decorated our eggs there.  We tried the melting crayon thing as seen on Pinterest.  It worked great, but the eggs have to be HOT HOT HOT to get the crayon to melt.

We also had lots of practice hunts!

Livie filmed the hunt, they're watching the footage, and she and Claire are strategizing.  Not really, but they should be... there is money in those eggs!!

We celebrated my little sister's birthday, and in true Claire fashion she tried on all of Sara's new outfit... right down to the orange shoes!

Happy Birthday Aunt Sara!!

The old Barbie stuff always comes out at Gram's.

And these two soon to be Brother in Laws took on a rather large project... Putting my mom's swing together.  Remember this picture!

Easter Morning...

Getting ready for company...

Showing off their egg creations...

Big things happening with these two... My sister is getting MARRIED
and I'm having a BABY!!

Remember that picture of all those parts?  It really did turn into a swing, and so far it holds people!!

Finally, it is time for the big hunt.  Granddad is going over the rules.

PS:  My mom made the girls' dresses.  She's Awesome.

Is this weird to you?  Grown adults actually participate in our Easter Egg Hunt.  It is VERY cut throat!

Don't let this guy fool ya, He got the LEAST amount of eggs.  I think that's his strategy though because that person also gets a prize!

It's winding down... just looking for the last few and the running and shoving has ceased! :)
