It's a... BOY!!

It's a BoY!!!
We are over the moon and terrified!!

This was my other photo shoot I HAD to do, and I have one more left. :)  With all this thought you would THINK I would have been completely prepared... I had the girls' outfits and had ironed on the Team Boy and Team Girl, bought pink and blue balloons, bought the wrapping paper, and had it all stored in the closet READY.

At the last minute our plans changed, and rather than all 4 of us finding out together, Jed and I found out early so we could watch the girls reactions.  Our sonogram was Thursday morning at 8:15, and we were able to take both girls.  They did a great job sitting quietly and just watching.

Here's our sweet baby,

and here's the point I knew we were having a BOY!  Jed still didn't know. :)

So, we were supposed to do the reveal for the girls that evening after school; however, the wind was blowing 70 mph!!  So we put it off until the next day, but I had blown up my balloons (the balloons I could only find in Wichita) with helium Thursday.

Top 8 Things that could possibly go wrong if you try this type of reveal....

8.  Every box you find could be the WRONG size

7.  The wind could be blowing 70 mph

6.  You could blow up your balloons then move the reveal to the next day to then find your balloons on the floor the next day.

5.  Your balloons could have SO MUCH STATIC that they won't "fly" out.

4.  You could possibly have a bright idea to spray static cling all over your balloons which in turn would again not allow them to float.  (Luckily when they dried they floated again.)

3.  It might be impossible to wrap a box not closed.

2.  You could run out of wrapping paper that you found 30 minutes away a LONG time ago.

1.  You could have a nature lovin' child (nothing wrong with this) that is more concerned with chasing the balloons down because when they go down an animal might eat them and die!

But then again these are just possibilities... :)

The Final Result...

Watch Claire's mouth moving... She's saying disappointingly,
"It's a BOY!"

Good Things...
1.  Since Livie, my nature lovin' girl, chased the balloons down, we were able to have the following pictures!!

 2.  Since the balloons weren't crazy full, we were able to fit more in the box.

3.  Because the balloons were a day old, they floated away slower allowing for more pictures!!

Finally, Good Thing #4. I LOVE our Pictures, and we will NEVER forget this day!!
