Z is for Zoo

So, we arrived back from the lake at like 1:30 or 2:00am, and the next day was our preschool snack day.  YIKES!!  The theme this week is Z and Zoo.  We made our own zoo snacks... animals in a cage.
 

First, we used green food coloring to turn our store bought icing into greenery and jungle.
 

We spread the icing onto graham crackers. 

Then we put animal crackers and teddy grahams on top.

Finally, we covered them with pull apart Twizzlers that we cut to fit.
 

There were casualties.
 

Ta - Da
 

We also served mandarin oranges in cupcake papers.
 

Then Claire and I waited BECAUSE we had to deliver something to preschool a little later...
