Silver Dollar City continued

All bundled up and ready for the light parade.

Santa himself was in the parade!  And, Livie was hugged by a REAL princess!  She was ecstatic!!

After the parade we ate and raced to Frosty; however, we had to make a pit stop on the way.  Here we are as the gingerbread family!  Notice Claire :)

Frosty came to LIFE!!! And it snowed on stage... (bubbles)

Livie went up on stage; however, Claire was not interested UNTIL she realized Livie had forgotten her hat.  She  then proceeded to walk up on stage, yell "E" and throw her hat to her!

Then this little girl was very helpful and tried to put the hat on Livie because after all it did land on her!! :)  Claire stayed on stage watching out for Livie the rest of the show!
We then went to my FavORiTe... a Christmas Carol... inside one of the theatres.  I unbundled myself and the girls while Jed got us hot chocolate... just typing that put a smile on my face :)

Finally, we ended with the Enormous tree.  Livie has loved it every year... Claire was not as impressed, but in all fairness it was late by now.
And we're done... Claire actually yelled go go as we waited for the trolley to the parking lot to fill up.  We timed it about perfect!

Road Trip

Wow, it seems like forever ago... 2 weeks ago to be exact.  I put the pictures in my photo book, but haven't been able to catch up on my blog!!  so here goes...

This is how our road trip began...
Neither the navigation system, nor the dvd player were working.  They were both asking for a "CODE" um what is this mysterious code it was asking us for.  Let's face it, with a 4 year old and a 20 month old we were in desperate need of our dvd player.  So, we called Honda and eventually figured out our "codes" which are now written down in our car! :)

Meanwhile, the girls were able to use their new coloring trays.  They actually worked really well minus the cupholders getting in the way.

Peek A Boo

Finally, made it to Missouri and out of the car we climbed!!  We went through the Precious Moments chapel, which I remembered doing as a little girl.

Claire was NOT impressed!

The grounds were beautiful!  It was perfect.  It allowed us all to run around, stretch our legs, and get some fresh air!

The camera's on the timer.

Can you tell... :)

We went to our old babysitter's house...
and then we went by our old house.  It looked great!  Both of our children were born here, and this was their first home.  We have many great memories.

And then off to our FAvOrITe restaurant, and it was just as good as I remember... I'm getting hungry just typing this.

We had a Fabulous First Day!

Day 3, Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City was so much fun!!
The Christmas Lights were up, and if you haven't been..
you absolutely can't imagine... there is nothing that is NOT covered in lights!
We're talking over 4 million Christmas Lights. AND shows... Frosty the Snowman and my favorite,
A Christmas Carol. It was amazing with hot cocoa.
Claire never stopped giggling
and screaming. She absolutely loved the rides.

Mommy road the butterflies...
Daddy road the frogs...

Trust me, mommy got the better end of the deal... the frogs are pretty jerky
and go around and around and around

The Balls... this place is a ball... literally :)

Once Claire got it figured out, she loved it.
Livie remembered the balls from when we lived in Missouri!

What's happening up there?

this is sooo EXCITING

Hey, where did it go??

into this machine... and then it shoots out the top! Super fun!

And this is Jed's favorite area...

The mine.... get em guys...

This is serious stuff. You shoot the targets and different things happen.

Too be continued... More to come for Day 3 :)

Branson Day 2

Cups... check

Hand Sanitizer... check

We're ready for the fish hatchery...

Fish

We use to LOVE going to the hatchery... good free fun!!

One quarter for food and endless fun...
Here I go...

We had one sprinkler, and one dumper
Livie's food lasted the entire time...
Claire's food lasted about 2 minutes, and that's only because
it took her a minute and a half to walk to the first cage!

Checking out the animals inside.

Now, outlet shopping for me... naps for the other 3.

And that night Jed took the girls to Bass Pro, and I went to Maria's
with friends. I was sooo happy they could all meet. We had so much fun
catching up. I miss them SO MUCH!!
