Homecoming

Homecoming!!!  The girls are ready for the parade.

She hears the band!!!!

Our neighbor and his son's football team.

Yes, candy!

And here's Uncle Lance with his Warriors Team.

Can you spot Henry?

Then, on to the ballgame where Claire cheered her heart out!!!
Except she said, "GO WIlDCATS!  GO K-STATE!!"  the entire game! :)

Our babysitter was a homecoming candidate... The Girls were beyond excited!

She was crowned Queen because she is absolutely lovely.... creative, beautiful, and unbelievably SWEET!  They have not stopped talking about how beautiful she was.  I think they might be a little sad when she comes to babysit and is not wearing her dress and crown! :)

Heading Home...

And one was very sad to leave the game.  It was fun though.  Newton didn't win, but they were playing a larger school...

And we weren't too sad because the CATS BEAT OU the next night!!!!
WOOO HOOOO

Babies in Tummies??!!

Yep, it's official... the girls know Aunt Molly has a baby in her belly!
YEA!!  And look, Claire has a baby in her belly too!
She did it immediately when I told her Aunt Molly had one... She was like... You got nothin' on me sister, stuffed her baby in her shirt, and said "I have a baby in my belly too!" :)

And at about that time this came up beside our house... yes, we live in town, but we farm a field behind the hospital and our roads are being worked on.  Therefore, he had to come through our neighborhood.  Claire rode out to the field,

and Livie and I followed.

I carried Claire's stroller and baby so she wouldn't be left out on the way back. )

Girls and their babies... I LOVE IT!

State Fair Field Trip

Livie had her first field trip on Monday.  Her entire school went to the State Fair.
Our family went, but Jed and Claire did their own thing until the buses left.  Then we checked Livie out and did our family time at the fair.

We were with a great group.  We all had a good time.... Go Blue Pig

Livie's favorite was the birthing center... so many cute babies!

Milking Cows

Checking out Grain

And look at these twins!

The petting zoo was also a hit.

We watched a sheep being sheered,

and got to feel the wool.

Part of our group....

Part of our group and a little sister. :)

Planting Sunflower Seeds

And then it was Family Fair Day.
Livie wouldn't do this, but Claire was all for it!

Did you know you don't have to pedal these anymore!!??

I love the state fair!

K-State Camping Weekend

So, after MUCH cleaning... my in-laws rv was ready to go.  Now let me just say that this was a GREAT idea by my husband... you know some good quality family bonding time.  HOWEVER, my biggest fear in the world is being raped and killed in an rv park.  Brutal I know.  I'm not trying to offend anyones passion, but I just feel like if it's going to happen... it will happen in an rv park??!!  And, if you know me, you know not much scares me.  In fact, I can't think of anything I'm really truly scared of other than that.  Jed scares much more easily.  Ok so now you know the details.
Oh wait and last time we did this I said, "I would NEVER do it again!" Ok Now you Know.

Here we are... Ready for our adventure.
One happy, excited family

And then here we are in the DARK STILL looking for the perfect spot.
"Isn't that a spot honey?  I think it has hook-ups"
"Nope never mind you just went right past it."
After like 30 minutes of that, Livie screaming are we there, Claire falling asleep, and Jed almost driving us off the boat ramp...
Papa Bear finally found the perfect picnic spot!!
Have you read that Berenstein Bears Story?  I USED to love it.

After we FINALLY hooked up, and got the girls settled... I began crying because I was scared.  AND if you know me AT ALL you know that my PRIDE would NEVER let me cry out of fear... or at least never has before.... I might have also been PMSing... (too much information for a blog?)
Anywho, at about 1:30 the rv began shaking as someone was knocking LOUDLY.  Jed answered the door, and we were in someones spot!!  Let's just say they are lucky I didn't shoot them.. you know because of the FEAR!!!
So YES we went through it ALL again!!

And here's OUR spot.

On a side note, these were our neighbors... like are you kidding me?
Please notice the million plants, flag, and table with decorations... she's watering her plants.

The next morning we were all quite tired, but in our purple ready for the K-State Game.

It was crowded of course and we were in the middle of course and the girls were horrible of course
I mean they were EXHAUSTED!!
To prove it My NON NAPPER fell asleep and drooled all over Jed's leg.  Please notice the lady yelling behind, and my completely limp daughter!1

The brief moment Claire was not complaining!

Our walk to the car... she seems happy and awake...

5 minutes later...

Trying to take a picture of our "happy" family.

And finally cooking out.. And this is the one moment the girls WEREN'T fighting.  No, wait they were.  Look at Livie.

Getting ready to race back to the rv for another night?!

So i don't know if it was my bad attitude, the girls constant fighting... not sure why, or the lack of sleep, but it was not a Happy Family weekend... YUCK
I was pretty tired of the fighting after 3 days.. what in the world.
Does that ever happen to you... great plan.... great family... but the execution just wasn't right?!
