Chick Catastrophe @ the Claassens

It started out to be an adventure for the chicks...
There first outdoor experience!

And then, off for a ride on the gator... a little scary, but everything is still peachy.

Please notice who is following closely behind, Maddi.  Maddi has been wonderful with the chicks and really not paid them any attention; however, when one flew out of the back... Maddi chased it down. :( It was TERRIBLE.

So, meet BoBo the 3rd.

On a bright note, our chicks are going to be highly intelligent with a broad vocabulary.

They are read to almost everyday.
Note:  Do not send any animals to the Claassens...

the Lake

Although it was not quite warm enough, and NO fish were biting :), we still had a good time!

We cleaned up all the nature in the yard,

tried different fishing strategies,
PS:  Look how muddy the water is.

and created things from nature.
This specifically is a Birthday Cake for Livie's Water Horse. :)

We spent an afternoon at HarBer Village living in and learning about the past.

Special Mail Delivery

Butter anyone?

And of course Jail

Then, back to nature.

More creating

Goose Watch

We even got wet... a little and it was CoLD, but they didn't seem to mind.

Actually Maddi got a LOT wet... and didn't even seem to notice that is was CoLD!

Come On Spring... PLEASE!!

Happy Birthday Sara

So, it's my little sister's birthday!
I must say she is the BEST sister anyone could ever ask for.
I just hope that my girls have the relationship that we have one day.

We talk daily, and I tell her stuff that no one else knows... she listens, loves, gives advice, understands when I need to check ten stores for the best price, flea markets with me, NEVER misses anything of my girls', and they adore her.

Maybe someday Sara this will be us....

But most likely, this is more Realistic...

Hey, you name it, and I'll hit it with the mini in a heartbeat!!

LOVE YA

Kindergarten Tea Party

Yes, Kindergarten had a tea party and luncheon with place mats, real plates, tea cups, and tea pots.  It was adorable!  I was so glad to be able to watch this sweet class interact with each other.
PS:  The flower centerpieces are from the greenhouse grown by the kids.

They were so careful and polite.

Even the boys were into it.

I had a blast, and am so thankful Livie has such a loving, fun teacher.

X marks the Spot

It's X week at Preschool which means
"Ar Matey... Treasure!"
And, it was our Snack Day.

We made treasure snacks.... Here is what you need.

First, you must make sure you have a clean surface. :)  You don't have to wear sunglasses and a princess dress, but I'm pretty sure it makes it more fun.

1.  We broke our graham crackers in halves.
2.  We spread store bought icing all over our graham crackers.

3. Sprinkle yellow or gold chunk sprinkles all over. (It's the treasure)

5.  Finally, X marks the spot!  We used pull apart twizzlers and cut them to size.

Ta - Da, Your SUPER EASY and QUICK
Treasure Snack

After baths, the girls followed a treasure map to find a new movie!
