the rides

do you remember the rides
as a child i do not remember looking at the construction of the rides
however, as an adult
i noticed every shaking bolt
and heard every clink and clatter

the good ole ferris wheel
no really... OLD

we put on a brave face for the girls

well sort of
jed, my absolute pessimist of a husband,
continued to comment...
"are you holding on to livie?"
"lean back"
"what was that noise?"
and
"stop taking pictures!"

it was fun, but my belly was not thanking me
i know i'm old

but not as old as the ferris wheel!
